Is the ‘extraordinary life’ your ordinary life but with supernatural power

We all have a sense of 'Is there more?' But do we sometimes materialize it into a lifestyle where it needs to be extraordinary? I wonder if our ordinary life is enough, but we are not allowing the supernatural to come into ourselves. When I say supernatural, it's inviting the Holy Spirit into your workplace, your local gym, or wherever you do your weekly activities.

To bring the power of God into situations, I don't mean to Bible bash with verses but to let your actions speak louder than words. So, how are you going to do this?

Steps to take: Get your journal ready!

Ask and invite the Holy Spirit to speak to you.

Questions to ask yourself:

  • Where do you need to lean in?

  • Where do you need to pray into your day?

  • What behaviors do you need to work on or change?

  • Are you a good representation for Jesus?

  • Do you speak life?

  • Do you speak well of people where you work?

Here are some examples from my own life:

I have shared words of knowledge with a person who was in my college course. This requires being obedient to what God asked me to do.

(If you want God to do something big in your life, you have to obey him in the small things he asks you to do.)

Having open conversations with friends who are non-Christians. This is being real with people, not coming across as perfect. Sometimes, we need to be honest about how hard life can be and how God is our strength. Showing that strength through the joy that God gives us is being a witness.

Listening to the Holy Spirit is like a muscle you need to learn to listen to the frequency of his voice.
