Here are some tips to create small wins throughout your day and improve your mental health!


To the people that know me too well they will laugh at this as they know how messy I am but here are some tips that helped me create small wins. I had to get in a place of being intentional about how I start my day otherwise my mind runs away with overthinking on different things and therefore would cause burnout.

TOP TIPS

1. Make your bed in the morning; I know this sounds super simple but it will make you feel a lot better. This may be a small task but it does make yourself feel better about yourself and when you come home from work your bed will look inviting to relax in.

2. Set little to do lists; We all have to do lists but if you have a daily list of what you want to complete for that day it will not overwhelm your mind on thinking that you have too much to do. Take little steps to complete each task. You could even create a weekly chart of what you like to complete whether it will be laundry on a Tuesday, batch cooking on a Monday etc


3. Gratitude list; One of my favourites things to do before I go to sleep is to journal, this is a good way to reflect on the day. This is also a good to get any worries or thoughts out of your mind that you might be thinking.
