Being chronically ill is hard when you don't look 'unwell' back in 2018 I started to get palpitations out of nowhere, there were many persistent trips to the GP and A&E visits and after over a year of having these visits there was a clear diagnosis. I was diagnosed with atrial flutter and atrial fibrillation. I have tried all sorts of beta blockers but I haven't had one that has been successful and I still get palpitations everyday but not as extreme as they where.
One time I was in A&E back in Jan 2020 just before the pandemic my heart rate would not comes down, for about 5 hours it was going up and down from 100 - 150+bpm I have never felt so unwell and out of control. I remember praying asking God to settle my heart rate and a few hours in from getting into the hospital at 3.30am around 6am. I had my eyes closed while my body was shaking and I saw Jesus kneeing down to the hospital trolley holding my heart in his hand and instantly my heart rate dropped.
This lead to staying in hospital for a week to get tests done and a MRI scan of my heart as the doctors thought I had ARVC. I was discharged but only to come back a few weeks later to have an operation called an Ablation but that was unsuccessful.
I don't understand why we don't get the instant healing that we want or need while we continuously prayer for healing but I know God is always there even when we can not feel anything but pain and loneliness.
My last thought is this a beautiful song to keep declaring over yourself:

Please don't give up on praying for healing, God is with you and he sees the pain, he is will you standing by your side.
