When I was born, my parents had a beautiful name in mind for me - Jasmine. Just after my arrival, the doctors discovered a hole in my heart (VSD). My parents made a profound decision: they named me Zoe, which means LIFE in Greek. It was a promise they believed came directly from God, a promise that I was destined to live and thrive.

Favorite Bible Verse:

My life has been shaped by the biblical verse that resonates deeply within me, John 10:10: "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." This verse has been my guiding light, a constant reminder of God's plan for my life and His promise of abundance.

The Early Struggles:

From a young age, I grappled with mental health challenges that seemed to cast shadows over my existence. As early as the age of 5, when I was just beginning preschool, anxiety and worry became

unwelcome companions. The intensity of my emotional turmoil reached a point where it began affecting me physically. I was caught in a relentless cycle of fear and unease.

Navigating High School:

Fast forward to high school, and my struggles with mental health intensified. I found myself overwhelmed by inexplicable anxiety. It felt as if an invisible weight was pressing down on me, making it hard to breathe. I couldn't understand why I was consumed by this relentless anxiety, a feeling that seemed to have no tangible cause.

The Battle Within:

Around the age of 12, and even occasionally in the present, I faced one of the darkest aspects of my journey – battling thoughts of suicide. These thoughts were a profound and terrifying aspect of my struggle. However, through it all, one unwavering belief has carried me through – the power of the Holy Spirit.

A Beacon of Hope:

While the road has been incredibly challenging, it's also been marked by moments of profound strength and resilience. My name, Zoe, remains a constant reminder of the promise of life, and John 10:10 continues to inspire me to seek abundance despite the trials. The journey of mental health is not linear, and it's one that I continue to navigate.

Conclusion:

My story is a testament to the power of faith, resilience, and the belief that life, even amidst the darkest of moments, can be filled with purpose and abundance. I share my journey not as a tale of triumph but as a reminder that in our struggles, we can find strength. May my story be a beacon of hope for those who face similar challenges, a reminder that even in the midst of darkness, there is a promise of light and life.
