If you know me personally I overthink a lot and sometimes my mind ponders on these questions;

  1. Who are my friends?

  2. Who do I trust?

  3. Who do I want to do life with?

  4. Who do I have honest conversations with?

One of a big life lessons is if you really want the honest answer speak to one trusted friend who will give it to you. In my early 20s I would also ask different people the same question, I just wanted the one answer that suited me but the reality is that isn't helpful also you will confuse yourself on what you really should do.

Get people around you who you do trust and invest in your friendships, I love to host people around my flat whether it is having people around for brunch or a pizza party in the evening. It doesn't have to have the social media aesthetics vibes. If you can't afford to cook for everyone have a good old-fashioned bring-and-share lunch or ask people to bring different items like soft drinks, main meal, snacks, and dessert.

I get that it isn't easy, I have struggled with anxiety properly since pre-school age, with going into new environments, walking into a new church where you have had a 'Hello, good morning' from every door you have walked through. Start with small steps by hosting in your own home where you know your own environment. I went through a phase where going to public settings such as restaurants or coffee shops was so overwhelming with the sound of a coffee machine whirling away or the smell of different cooked foods coming out of the kitchen and just the noise in general would be too much.

P.S You have got this!
